Welcome to OptiBytes Photography by Michael T. Barrett.

What started as a hobby with a Canon SD1000, quickly grew into a passion with a Canon PowerShot SX110 IS. Eventually, that passion became and intense love for nature and birds which I attempt to capture through the lens of my Digital Rebel XTi.

Take a look through my photographs. If anything strikes your fancy, feel free to purchase a print.

Although my first love is nature and birds, I am also available for special events and other occasions as well.

Douglas County TEA Party (June 04, 2010) : Photos from the Douglas County TEA Party held on June 04, 2010 at Clinton Nature Preserve in Winston, Georgia. Organized by Maureen Miller, Brenda Bohanan, and Teresa Ott, the TEA Party was a great success with approximately 3,000 local area citizens in attendance. Speakers included Sharon White, David Latham, and Herman Cain. The Constitutionalists performed live music for the event and Iron Horse BBQ supplied delicious BBQ meals all afternoon. Dozens of conservative candidates were introduced to the crowd during breaks in Herman Cain's show (which was recorded at the TEA Party).
